The disturbing slow dancing

Inspired by the Colombian cumbia that is born and grows in the border region between Mexico and the United States, as a form of subculture that confronts the growing neo-extractivism in Monterrey, Morales did a two-month residency at the Schwankhalle in Bremen. Interviewing Colombian cumbia singers and dancers, learning the steps and getting into the codes and gestures of this dance, I presented together with Magali Sander Fett the performance "Speed Dating #3". Through tutorials, live music, imagination exercises, and video presentations of our guests the dance research was presented in the Schwankhalle Bremen.
